Recompense the Color Loss for Underwater Image using Generalized Color Compensation (GCC) Technique

چکیده

Abstract The light absorption of the water medium often caused underwater image enhancement to become challenging due loss in color channels where red vanished faster than others. affected quality especially having cast like greenish, bluish, and yellowish. Therefore, this paper introduced a Generalized Color Compensation (GCC) technique which will recompense based on maximum channel then remove using mean adjustment. For experiments conducted, GCC improved contrast successfully. showed that proposed was able effectively regardless yellowish improve quality.
